Lemon Quartz
Lemon quartz, also known as 'oro verde', 'green gold' and 'lemon citrine', is the name given to quartz which has been treated with gamma radiation to give a bright lemon colour (gamma radiation is harmless and there is no cooling period needed unlike other types of radiation). Mined in Brazil. Hardness: 7 (Mohs).
