Job Title: Administrator/Customer Service

Salary: £22000 per annum

Job Type: Fixed term (12 months), maternity cover with potential for further extension but not guaranteed.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (35 hours per week plus half hour unpaid lunch break)

Annual Leave: 31 days per annum, including public holidays.

Place of work: Duddingston Yards, Edinburgh EH15 3NT

Key tasks and responsibilities

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Answering queries from customers and suppliers on the telephone and by email.
  • Advising customers on all aspects of jewellery making
  • Dealing with refunds and issues with orders
  • Dealing with incoming stock and updating stock levels
  • Maintaining and adding new products to Etsy
  • Labelling, sorting and bagging new components
  • Assisting the Digital Marketer with social media campaigns
  • Occasionally making jewellery for social media posts

  • Knowledge of jewellery making (essential)
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly personality
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Team player
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft)
