Slip the jump ring opener onto your finger and grasp the side of your jump ring with flat or chain nose pliers. Slip the bottom of the jump ring into the slot which offers the best fit and gently twist the jump ring sideways with the pliers to open it. It's that simple and saves you from using two sets of pliers to open and close your rings.
